Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for contractual positions under the Nagaland State Drugs Testing Laboratory (NSDTL), Kohima. These positions will be for a duration of one year, subject to renewal based on performance and administrative requirements.
The Directorate reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason. Possession of the required qualifications and experience does not guarantee shortlisting or selection.
Position Details
1. Analyst
- Vacancies: 4
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, specializing in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Analysis.
- Desirable: At least one year of experience in drug testing and proficiency in handling HPLC, AAS, UV Spectroscopy, etc.
- Age Limit: 21 to 37 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical analyses on various samples and explore new testing methods.
- Maintain records, validate/re-validate chemical standards, and manage equipment functionality.
- Archive and retrieve test data and perform other tasks assigned by the Laboratory In-Charge.
2. Laboratory Assistant
- Vacancies: 2
- Monthly Salary: ₹18,000
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects.
- Desirable: Experience working in a testing laboratory is preferred.
- Age Limit: 21 to 37 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, prepare samples, and ensure the accuracy of results.
- Maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and assist the Analyst with assigned tasks.
3. Office Assistant
- Vacancies: 1
- Monthly Salary: ₹15,000
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Graduate in any discipline with advanced computer application skills.
- Desirable: Prior experience in office management or accounts is advantageous.
- Age Limit: 21 to 37 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general office operations, assist the Administrator, and maintain office records.
- Handle account-related tasks and other duties as assigned.
4. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Vacancies: 1
- Monthly Salary: ₹15,000
- Qualifications:
- Essential: Graduate in any discipline with a Diploma in Computer Applications.
- Desirable: Experience in digital data management is preferred.
- Age Limit: 21 to 37 years as of 31st December 2024.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain data reports, spreadsheets, and online documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of digital records and support online reporting processes.
Additional Information:
- The contractual period is initially one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
- These posts are co-terminus, and candidates cannot claim regularization.
- In case of a tie in interview marks, academic qualifications will determine the final selection.
